Special Meeting Held Regarding Superintendent Search

The Eureka USD 389 board of education held a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8 to hear feedback from Alma Henry, Director of Leadership Services with Kansas Association of School Boards (KASB), as she heard feedback from various groups, including site councils, staff and students, regarding the ongoing superintendent search.
Henry shared feedback she gathered while meeting with various groups last week.
Applications for the Eureka USD 389 Superintendent position are being accepted through Jan. 19, with the interview process to begin shortly thereafter. Superintendent Scott Hoyt will conclude his tenure at Eureka on June 30.
The board of education held their monthly January meeting on Tuesday of this week and will hold their next regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 9, at 6
