The Eureka Herald hosted their 17th Annual Holiday Coloring Contest this December, with a total of 25 individuals of all ages participating. Although the contest included five age groups: four and under, five to seven, eight to 12, 13 to 17 and 18 and older, a special division was added for inclusive special arts. Plans to add a seventh division, “Most Creative,” to next year’s contest are in the works. Both the “Most Creative” and “Inclusive Special Arts” will compete against all age divisions.
The color page was available in The Eureka Herald’s Nov. 26 issue.
Those placing first in age divisions received a $50 cash prize, with second- place recipients receiving a $20 cash prize. Inclusive special arts winners received a special gift.
