The fifth annual Christmas decorating contest concluded last Friday, Dec. 19, with The Eureka Herald/ Shelter Insurance and Devin Miller winning top honors in this year’s contest.
Claiming the business decorating contest was The Eureka Herald/ Shelter Insurance, located at 822 E. River St. Placing second was The Gym, located at 120 N. Main St.
Winning the residential honor was Devin Miller at 320 S. Illinois St. Second place went to Leon Attebery at 1004 Country Club Drive.
Winners will be presented with local gift cards and a certificate.
Community members voted for the honor based on who they felt had the best decorations this Christmas.
The annual event was hosted by the City of Eureka/ Eureka Main Street.
