Beverly Noland* “Freddy Stuber, My favorite, too. Little Zuzu is, I believe, the last surviving cast member. She was 85 this past May. She lives here in TN. We have known her for about 25 years. She is still very much resembles her 6 year old self at the time the movie was made. There were 2 little Zuzu girls. Louise is the one carried down the stairs on Jimmy Stewart’s back and held by the Christmas tree. Louise, AKA Zuzu is the one who says she knows about the bell ringing. The Zuzu seen earlier in the movie is an older, larger girl who was too heavy for Jimmy to quickly come down the stairs with the girl hanging on to his neck.”
