Members of the West Elk Patriot wrestling teams traveled to Chase County on Thursday, Dec. 11 for the annul Bulldog Jamboree.
Following are the individual results for West Elk wrestlers: Bulldog Women`s Jamboree Womens 135: Maggie Humphrey lost by fall to Sanaa Ake (Clearwater) (Fall 2:28); won by fall over Julia Nowicka (Hesston) (Fall 2:52); and won by fall over Kylee Wulf (Clearwater) (Fall 1:26).
Womens 170: Haylee Knight lost by fall to Samantha Strausz (Hesston) (Fall 0:38); and lost by fall to Samantha Strausz (Hesston) (Fall 0:38).
Bulldog Men`s Jamboree Mens Group 113: Welch Murphy lost by fall to Gauge Culbertson (Douglass) (Fall 1:21); lost by fall to Aidan Johnson (Herington) (Fall 3:19); and won by fall over Brayden Kroetch (Clearwater) (Fall 2:18).
Mens Group 165 B: Corbin Arbuckle received a bye; lost by fall to Clark Miller (Chase County) (Fall 0:49); and lost by fall to Brayden Weidman (Clearwater) (Fall 0:43).
Mens Group 190: Landon Wunderlich won by fall over Robert Casey (Hesston) (Fall 2:32); won by fall over Dariel Ultreras (Emporia) (Fall 0:49); and won by fall over Jiro Flores-Delgado (Emporia) (Fall 1:45).
Mens Group 285: Edward Metcalf lost by fall to Camden Jackson (Osage City) (Fall 0:11); lost by fall to Killian Harrington (Eureka) (Fall 1:05); and won by fall over Lyen Smith (Emporia) (Fall 0:42).
