The Eureka Tornadoes recently traveled to Chase County for the annual Bulldog Jamboree where several Tornado student- athletes went undefeated for the day.
Following the individual results for Eureka participants: Bulldog Women`s Jamboree
Womens 110/115: Emma Baumgartel received a bye; won an 18-0 tech fall over Kyla Childers (Clearwater); and lost by fall to Lahna Passmore (Chase County) (Fall 0:41).
Womens 125/130: Maela Neill received a bye; lost by fall to Payton Newell (Clearwater) (Fall 5:26); and won by fall over Lola Beaver (Herington) (Fall 1:36).
Womens 145: Chevelle Chastain lost by fall to Chloe McMillen (Clearwater) (Fall 0:28); won by fall over Peighton Larson (Solomon) (Fall 2:19); and lost by fall to KayLynn Nicholson (Osage City) (Fall 0:20).
Bulldog Men`s Jamboree Mens Group 120: Maddox Hughes received a bye; won by fall over Noah Wood (Osage City) (Fall 0:59); and lost by fall to Daniel Scott (Emporia) (Fall 5:17).
Mens Group 126: Mason Hughes placed 2nd. He won a 14-6 major decision over Tristen Silverson (Emporia); won by fall over Cameron Fern (Solomon) (Fall 0:52); and lost a 2-17 tech fall to Chase Courtois (West Franklin).
Mens Group 126 B: Brayden Buck lost a 14-17 decision to Derrick Winegar (Clearwater); lost by fall to Christian Sanchez (Eureka) (Fall 1:49); and received a bye.
Mens Group 126 B: Christian Sanchez placed 1st. He received a bye; won by fall over Brayden Buck (Eureka) (Fall 1:49); and won by fall over Derrick Winegar (Clearwater) (Fall 1:09).
