Five community members will be recognized this Saturday, Dec. 6, at 4:30 p.m. as community members of the month for their efforts recently.
For various reasons, the community member of the month recently failed to recognize recipients and hopes to “catch up” in a few weeks.
Those being recognized this Saturday include: Christine Mouer, Delacy Mitchell, Larry & Jo Evans, and Michele Seeley. They were all nominated by community residents and were selected by the committee to receive the honor.
L. and J. Evans, Mouer, Mitchell and Seeley will now be up for Community Member of the Year for 2026, along with Connie Mitchell and Laura Wallace, who were recognized earlier in the year. The community will vote for the recipient they wish to receive the yearly honor, mid-December through early January 2026.
