A shop in Severy was destroyed last Saturday, after a fire broke out.
According to the Severy Fire Department, they responded to the structure fire at 409 N. Kansas Ave. at approximately 9:42 p.m.
The garage was fully engulfed when Severy Fire arrived on scene and was deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire was deemed unknown.
The property is owned by Joe Cheever.
Crews were on scene until the early morning hours to ensure the fire didn’t rekindle.
There were no injuries.
Eureka Fire Department and Greenwood County Fire - Severy Division also responded to the fire.
