The Toronto Booster Club is hard at work raising money for new playground equipment for the empty space at the grounds by the Gym. The old playground equipment was removed years ago when they began tearing down the old school building.
You can make sizable donations and get a metal plaque with your name on it. For more information contact the Booster Club at 620-344-2680, torontoboosterclub@ gmail or stop by the Toronto Library or Toronto Lumber.
The playground at the school has always been a place for kids to gather and parents and grandparents would take the kids to play. I hope they have some swings for adults also. Many times I've taken nieces and grandkids there to play and swung while they were playing or swung with a little one on my lap.

A similar article states that custard pie is the pie of choice for Kansans!?! I'd have to beg to differ on that one. I would've thought it would be apple or pecan.
