The Eureka Junior High Tornado wrestlers concluded their season last week, with a tournament at home on Thursday, Nov. 20 and their final tournament at Coffeyville on Friday, Nov. 21.
Last week, the Tornadoes claimed seven 1st place, four 2nd, four 3rd and six 4th place finishes.
Following are the results for Eureka participants: 2025 Eureka JH Tournament Boys 92-95: Cooper Wunderlich placed 1st. He won by fall over Trapper Kent (Bluestem) (Fall 0:36); lost a 2-10 major decision to Jacob Holt (Cherryvale); and won by fall over Tacoma Dutro (Chanute-Royster) (Fall 2:38).
Boys 94-102: Brandon Cornett placed 1st. He won by fall over Bodie Coyne (Chanute-Royster) (Fall 1:26); won by fall over Nash Newby (Bluestem) (Fall 0:39); and won by fall over Philip Fontes (Cherryvale) (Fall 1:38).
