Two Paths To Christmas Magic For Greenwood CountyYouth

This year, families have two wonderful ways to brighten a child’s Christmas and make the season truly unforgettable.

Emprise Bank will once again host their “Adopt-A-Child” program; along with the Greenwood County Health Department starting “Santa’s Little Helper.”

Both will have families in need signup for the program and then seek “elves” to assist in purchasing gifts for those children.

Adopt-A-Child

The Adopt-A-Child Program, now in its 35th year, has long been a pillar of generosity in Eureka. Through the program, families, businesses, and individuals “adopt” a child for the season, fulfilling their holiday wishes.

The program is available for children ages birth to 18 years whose family meets the qualifying income guidelines. A current driver’s license and proof of income or benefits summary are required to sign up. Sign-ups are being taken from Nov. 10 - Nov. 28.

For more information, or to sign up, visit 418 N. Main, in Eureka or call 620-583-5564.

Santa’s Little Helper The Greenwood County Health Department is in its inaugural year of the Santa’s Little Helper program, a brandnew effort dedicated to ensuring that every child in the community feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

The program is available for children ages birth to 18 years whose family meets the qualifying income guidelines. Signups are being taken now through Dec. 1.

For more information, or to sign up visit 200 W. 1st Street, in Eureka or call 620-583-6632. Inquiries can also be sent via email to Madison Morris at [email protected].
