Camille Frakes, vice-president, called the Nov. 6 WELCA meeting to order. Six members answered roll call with a bible verse.
The Oct. 2 minutes were read by Sue Erickson, secretary, with corrections made.
Rene Wiggins gave the treasurer’s report.
Discussion was held about the Gather magazine subscription, updating the playground equipment and final Bazaar plans.
Quick Draw Creative presented a bazaar banner.
Pastor Sue Ellen Wenthe led the Thankoffering service consisting of prayers, hymns, Bible verses, blessings, readings, and the Holy Gospel, with WELCA members assisting. Each one present shared what they were thankful for, namely God, family and friends.
Plans were made for the Dec. 4 meeting, to bring cookies to share. Christmas carols will also be enjoyed.
