The program will be held at the Eureka United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall and starts at 1:30 p.m. It is open to the public.
Cammie Wilson, Eureka citizen and historian, will share sites and information she gathered from a recent trip tracing Edwin Tucker’s journey as he made his way to Eureka to found our city. While Mr. Tucker made his trip in a covered wagon in 1856, Cammie and Matt Wilson traveled by car stopping at many sites to research history C. Wilson will share.
Alisha Fisher, Greenwood County/Kansas State University Extension Family and Community Wellness agent will also be a presenter. As families prepare to spend more time together over the holidays, shared activities can make the time more enjoyable and memorable. Fisher will show the group some card games that support children’s development, enhance social interaction, and promote cognitive and physical well-being for all ages. “Family Game Time” focuses on the value of family time and connections.
Kim Fogle, Greenwood County Extension Office Professional and county fair award-winning crafter, will show different paper crafts that one can make for gifts and enjoyment.
