The Flinthills Mustang football season came to an end last Friday, as the Mustangs fell to Sylvan-Lucas, 14-62, at the end of the third quarter.
Sylvan-Lucas dominated over the Mustangs, scoring double digits in all quarters.
The Mustangs trailed 8-22 after the first and 8-40 at halftime.
Flinthills’ Beau Hall scored two times for the Mustangs. The first on a 35-yard run and the second on a 54-yard yard. The Mustangs were suc-cessful on the first twopoint conversion attempt with a pass from Tripp Carney to Taylor Carroll.
With the regional action, junior Hall broke the unofficial single-season rushing record, rushing for over 1,750 yards this season. The previous record holder rushed for just over 1,700 yards in the early 1990s.
Defensively, the Mustangs were lead by Ty Finley 9 tackles, Talon Scribner 7 tackles, Hall 6 tackles, and Mason Randall and Luke Jenkins each with 4.
