I’m not sure how to properly thank a community of people for countless acts of kindness, countless acts of compassion, and countless acts of deep-felt friendship. But I can tell you that each, and every one of those acts did not go unnoticed or forgotten. I can tell you that each, and every one of those acts have helped me and my family navigate our way through a really, really...... Bad storm.
It is no surprise to me that my son Rusty requested that when it was his time to leave, he be laid to rest near the community that nurtured him, the community that influenced him, and the community that shaped him into the individual he became. Rusty moved away from Eureka to pursue a career... But his heart has always remained.
Thank you, Eureka..... from the bottom of my heart.
