The Greenwood County Ministerial Alliance is hosting a community food drive to gather donations for the local pantry.
Donation bins are at local banks, Eureka G&W Foods and The Eureka Herald.
The drive will continue through Saturday, Nov. 1. with a truck being on Main Street on Cattlemen’s Day for donations. The exact location is TBD.
The food pantry is open on the first and second Mondays of each month from12-2 p.m. This ministry feeds approximately 70-80 families per month.
Non-perishable items needed include, but are not limited to, the following items: Cereal, Toilet Tissue, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Spaghetti, Mac and Cheese, Canned Vegetables, Canned Soup, Canned Beans, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Milk, Canned Meat, Canned Fruit, Canned Sweet Potatoes, Brown Sugar, Stuffing Mix, Cornbread Mix, Canned Tomatoes.
The food bank is located at 1710 E. River Street (behind the Seventh-Day Adventist Church).
