ELK COUNTY - Brandi Mast, Associate Director of the Elk County Community Foundation, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Kansas Association of Community Foundations (KACF).
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the greater Elk County area,” Mast said. “Being on the KACF Board means I can bring new ideas, resources, and best practices back home to help our local programs grow and thrive.”
The Kansas Association of Community Foundations connects foundations across the state, sharing strategies and tools that strengthen communities. KACF is also responsible for organizing and hosting the Annual National Conference for Growing Community Foundations, held each fall in Wichita, Kansas, which provides education, networking, and development opportunities for community foundation leaders nationwide.
Mast’s role on the board ensures that Elk County has a voice at the state level, giving the community access to statewide resources and collaboration opportunities to support local initiatives in education, health, youth programs, and community development.
