Lady Tornadoes Concluded Season At Humboldt Regional

The Eureka Lady Tornado High School volleyball team went 1-2 in Regional action on Monday, Oct. 20, to conclude their season at the 2A Humboldt Regional.

The Lady Tornadoes fell to Erie 21-25, 23-25 and to Humboldt 13-25, 14-25; before defeating Belle Plaine 25-22, 25-19.

Against Erie, the Lady Tornadoes claimed 4 ace serves (Arabella Shepherd 2 and Ellianna Coulter and Raylee Boles each with 1); 16 kills (Alaina Westerman 5, Hannah Perrier 4, Madelyn Miller, Addison Westerman and Shepherd all with 2 and Coulter 1); 1 solo block (by Perrier); 16 assists (Alaina Westerman 4, Shepherd and Boles each with 3 and Miller, Addison Westerman, Coulter, Kinlee Sanchez and Perrier all with 1); and 48 digs (Miller 11, Sanchez 8, Shepherd 7, Boles 6, Coulter 5, Alaina Westerman 4, Lydia Mason 3, Addison Westerman 2 and Sydney Lindamood and Perrier each with 1.

Against Humboldt, Eureka tallied 1 ace serve by Miller; 8 kills (Miller and Alaina Westerman each with 2 and Lylly Stapleford, Coulter, Shepherd and Perrier all with 1); 8 assists (Shepherd, Lindamood and Boles all with 2 and Coulter and Sanchez each with 1); and 36 digs (Shepherd 15, Coulter 5, Sanchez 4, Perrier and Boles each with 3, Miller 2 and Stapleford, Addison Westerman, Lindamood and Alaina Westerman all with 1.

Against Belle Plaine, the Tornadoes recorded 7 ace serves (Coulter 6 and Sanchez 1); 20 kills (Shepherd 5, Perrier 4, Coulter and Lindamood each with 3, Miller and Alaina Westerman each with 2 and Addison Westerman 1); 4 block assists (Perrier 2 and Stapleford and Miller each with 1); 19 assists (Alaina Westerman 7, Boles 4, Addison Westerman and Shepherd each with 3 and Miller and Lindamood each with 1); and 59 digs (Boles 11, Shepherd 10, Mason 9, Miller and Alaina Westerman each with 6, Lindamood and Sanchez each with 3, Stapleford 2 and Addison Westerman and Perrier each with 1).

Eureka concluded the 2025 season with a 16-21 overall record.
