Severy City Council
1. What is your primary reason for running for this position?
It is important to me to bring integrity to the city council to keep it moving forward in a positive direction for the people within Severy!
2. What is your vision for your city/board of education and how would you help achieve it?
I want to make sure the city continues to provide the primary utilities, water, sewer, trash, electric, gas and roads.
3. What three issues do you consider to be your “top priorities?” Water provided by Severy is essential.
Roads are a top priority/we have been working to make them better for years. I would like to see all the roads resurfaced in Severy. It will take Several more years, but I would like to see this through.
We need to make sure the budget remains balanced as we make pro gress.
4. What background do you have that will help you in this role, if elected?
I have been involved with the City of Severy as a councilman for several years now. I understand the needs of Severy.
5. How do you feel the current board/council is doing in their service?
Overall I believe Severy is doing the best we can do with the lack of funds sometimes. With good leadership Severy can remain focused through the long term projects.
6. Please list personal information or other information you feel is important.
Water system upgrades and roads are long term projects, I have been involved with over the years. These are key issues the city can continue to improve on. With anything there is always room to improve and grow.
I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Severy for the past several years.
