Fundraisers Underway For Evenson Family

Fundraisers Underway For Evenson Family

Fundraisers are currently underway to assist Eureka High School graduate Dalton Evenson and his family as they navigate an unexplained and debilitating medical issue.

For the past two years, Dalton has been experiencing severe pain, falls, and weakness in his right leg. His condition has worsened over the past few months and he has been unable to work. Despite countless doctor visits and a recent hospitalization, answers remain unclear, and he has now been admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. for further testing. With Dalton unable to work and his wife Trinity now supporting him through these medical stays and caring for their two-year-old daughter, the family is in need of extra support from their community during this difficult time and hardships.

This coming Monday, Oct.

13, Pizza Hut of Eureka will be hosting a fundraiser with a portion of that day’s sales going to the Dalton Evenson family.

Friends and family are also hosting two gun raffles, with the winner for a Beretta A400 Xplor 12 Ga. semi-auto shotgun and a Savage Axis II Precision .243 Win bolt action rifle, being drawn on Saturday, Dec. 6. For tickets, contact Austin Evenson at 620-750 0222 or Lane Johnson at 620-750-0217.

Donations for the family can be sent, made payable to Dalton Evenson Medical Benefit, to Community National Bank & Trust, 401 N. Main St., Eureka, KS 67045, sent via Venmo to @DonnysBenefit (note for which gun raffle or for donation only) or through GoFundMe at https:// www.gofundme.com/f/supporting- dalton-his-family- during-uncertain-times (Courtesy photo)
