Mills/Miller Named EHS Homecoming Royalty
2025 Eureka High School Homecoming Court

During a special assembly last Friday afternoon, seniors TJ Mills, son of Shawn and Dana Mills of Eureka and Madelyn Miller, daughter of Scott and Shelby Miller of Eureka, were named as the 2025 Eureka High School Homecoming King and Queen.

The other candidates, all seniors, included: for King, Timothy Aguilar, Cole Ptacek, William Fitzwater and Peyton Hare; and for Queen, Hannah Perrier, Brenna Rucker, Lydia Mason and Britta Mongeau.

The crown bearers were Jayce Baumgartel and Hope Perrier, both first graders at Marshall Elementary School, in Eureka.

Parade Grand Marshals Tom and Carolyn Perrier, the EHS Class of 1976 along with the Class of 2026 were recognized.

The homecoming parade followed the assembly.

The junior class won the float contest, with sophomores placing second and seniors being third. For clubs and groups, FCA claimed top honors, with SADD Club taking second and Art Club placing third.

Students in grades 7-12 also created banners for Homecoming week. The seventh graders claimed top honors with the seniors taking second place and juniors claiming third place.

During halftime Friday evening, the new Queen and her court were escorted by their fathers, as well as the King candidates. The crown bearers, EHS cheerleaders, the EHS band and 2024 EHS Homecoming Queen Corinne Nelson and King Dalton Pool assisted with festivities.

The Tornadoes won their game, 30-12, against Bluestem.

A homecoming dance was held in the Tornado Activity Center, following the game.
