1. What is your primary reason for running for this position?

I am seeking re-election to the Madison USD 386 School Board because I remain deeply committed to improving our schools, advocating for our youth, and ensuring that our district continues to meet the needs of students, teachers, families, and our community.

2. What is your vision for your city/board of education and how would you help achieve it?

My vision is to maintain a school board that is effective, compassionate, transparent, and approachable—while preparing our students with the resources and education they need to succeed here in Madison and beyond. With more than 30 years as an active member of the Madison community and over a decade of experience serving on the USD 386 School Board, I bring both local insight and proven leadership that allow me to make informed decisions and lasting contributions. I believe our current board has worked hard to serve the district well, and I want to build on that progress while also staying mindful of state and national trends that shape education, ensuring our community remains prepared for the future.

3. What three issues do you consider to be your “top priorities?” Key priorities include: Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for students and teachers Addressing our aging facilities responsibly Ensuring curriculum continues to meet the needs of all students

4. What background do you have that will help you in this role, if elected?

As a parent and grandparent of past, current, and future Bulldogs, I am personally invested in the success of our schools. I will continue working to make a meaningful, lasting impact for every student in Madison.
