1. What is your primary reason for running for this position?
My name is Michael Mallek and I am running for Hamilton USD #390 School Board because I want to serve the community that I have been a part of for the past 20 years. I believe I bring a unique perspective to the board as I have spent time in the classroom as a substitute teacher in all districts in the county.
2. What is your vision for your city/board of education and how would you help achieve it?
Running a successful school district by providing fiscal responsibilities and implementing policies to enable all students and staff to learn and work in a safe and positive environment. This will be achieved by making good financial decisions and establishing district policies to ensure student growth and success.

4. What background do you have that will help you in this role, if elected?
I have served on the Hamilton USD #390 School Board for the last 15 years, of which the last 5 years as President. I have also been a licensed substitute teacher in the county for the past 15 years.
5. How do you feel the current board/council is doing in their service?
I believe we have an excellent Board in place. We are an experienced Board with 3 members with over 15 years of service. We work well together serving in the best interest of the school district.

Currently farming/ranching Retired from the U.S. Marine Corp after 23. Years.
