
Richard Lee “Dick” Randolph, 79, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to spend eternity with his heavenly father on the morning of September 24, 2025, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. Richard was born to Thelma Randolph in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 21, 1945. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Glenn and Nettie Randolph on the Ward McGinnis Lease Southwest of Hamilton, Kansas where his grandfather was the superintendent.
Richard’s education began at the Worley District #67 one-room schoolhouse located near the Wiggins farm 7 miles southwest of Hamilton, Kansas continuing through 8th grade. In 1959, he was a part of the last graduating class from #67 along with classmates, Roy Nixon and Jim Wiggins. The three attended school all 8 years together. His Freshman and Sophomore years were completed at the Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Kansas. When his grandfather, Glenn, retired and moved the family to Eureka, Kansas, Richard completed his Junior and Senior years at Eureka High School, graduating with the class of 1963.
After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was activated by the Army as a Combat Engineer in a Construction Machinery Company and served with the 169th Engineer Battalion, 5th Infantry Division Mechanized, US Army III Corp (Known as the Red Devils), as an SP5 promotable. Richard received the National Defense Service Medal and was Honorably Discharged at the completion of obligation on the 17th of March 1970.
Richard worked at feedyards, construction companies, refineries, and a chemical plant. He retired in 2008 from the City of Tulsa/Tulsa Airport Authority, then came out of retirement to work in the oil and gas industry in Wyoming for Wizz Well Service. Throughout his career, he made many lifelong friends.
Richard accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, Kansas followed by baptism on August 31, 1987. He was a strong but quiet man that lived his life loving the Lord and his family.
Richard married Peggy Carroll in 1965, bringing three beautiful daughters into this world, Delinda, Requel “Kelly,” and Carrie.
Richard then married Janice Mechtley in 1978, loving her son, Eric, as his own.
On June 25th, 1983, Richard was united in marriage to Gina Cross Spain lovingly embracing her two young sons Thomas and Rodney as his own. They were then blessed a year later with a daughter, Sami.
Richard was introduced to his son, Jason Little, in 1991.
The family was completed with 8 beautiful children. Richard was a very positive role model for his children and loved each of them deeply.
Richard is survived by his wife, Gina of the home; children, Delinda Conrad of Temple, GA; Eric and his wife Kelli Harpel of Springfield, MO; Kelly and her husband Bob Messelt of Eureka, KS; Carrie and her husband Anthony Felton of Maize, KS; Jason and his wife Caroline Little of Williamsburg, VA; Thomas Spain of Tulsa, OK; Rodney Spain of Tulsa, OK; and Sami and her husband Greg Gilliam of Porter, OK.
Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Randi, Jayme, Kelby, Dacie, Keanan, Andre', Darius, Autumn, Heather, Michaela, Shelby, Kenzie, Joey, Zacchaeus and McKenzi; 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins and friends he considered family.
Richard was preceded in death by his loving grandparents who raised him; Glenn and Nettie Randolph; his mother, Thelma Randolph; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services were on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the Unity Temple Family Church, Inola, Oklahoma with Pastor Earrak Cotton officiating. A viewing was held one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Unity Temple Family Church or Clarehouse.
