It is officially Fall. Fall began in the wee hours Monday morning. Temperatures have sure felt like Fall this past week. And, haven’t they felt good? Time for hot chocolate and soup!

Hello to all in area nursing and assisted living facilities. Hello also to all in area hospitals and rehab centers. By the time you read this, Wade will be home from the Life Care Center of Burlington.

We offer our sympathy to the families of Charlene Town and Leonard Beat. We offer our sympathy to all others who lost loved ones this past week. May they all rest in peace.

The Annual Toronto Alumni Luncheon will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Toronto Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., the meal will be served at noon with a business meeting following the meal.

The annual meal is being held at the Senior Center, due to no restrooms at the gym yet. There are people working on them, but the labor is all voluntary so it is taking a little longer to complete.

On Saturday, Oct. 4, Getty’s 76 is hosting a trivia night fundraiser for the Toronto Library. Everyone is welcome to attend.
