A fundraiser is being planned for the family of Richie Escareno.
The Eureka Pizza Hut fundraiser, scheduled for next Monday, Sept. 22, is being held to assist the family with funeral expenses following his recent passing.
Escareno, 66, of Madison, died on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Stormont Vail Hospital, in Topeka. Funeral services will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Eureka Downs Turf Room.

A portion of that day’s sales will be donated, however, customers are asked to note the fundraiser when ordering.
