Joni Booth called the Sept. 4 WELCA meeting to order in the Bell Tower Room at the Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka. Booth led devotions about “Volunteering Wisely.”
Roll call was answered by three members with a Bible verse.
Sue Erickson read the minutes from the July 3 meeting. Rene Wiggins gave the Treasurer’s Report. Correspondence included newsletters from Oaks Mission and The Synod Convention.
Old Business was the Bazaar hand-quilted quilt received a blue ribbon at the Greenwood County Fair and Christ Kids attendance was 20 or more for their first meeting.
Donation were discussed.
Due to low attendance, no decisions were made and no program was given.
The Oct. 2 meeting will start with Wiggins giving devotions, Pastor Sue Ellen Forbes reading the program and Booth providing refreshments.
The meeting was adjourned.
