The Emporia Community Foundation will host a free event for the public showcasing the work of 35 non-profits as they gear up for the 2025 Greater Emporia Area Match Day event.
“We encourage everyone to come out and hear directly from the leaders of the various nonprofit agencies in our community as they talk about their mission and share stories about the great work being done,” said Linda Kehres-Schmidt Emporia Community Foundation Executive Director.
The Match Day Video Premiere will take place on Friday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Lyon County History Center located at 711 commercial Street. The public is in-vited to attend to learn more about the non-profits who will be participating in the Match Day event on Nov.17.
The greater Emporia 2025 Match Day will bring together diverse networks of people and charitable causes to encourage and strengthen acts of kindness in the service of changing our community and our world for the better.
