“Wear Blue For Brandon” This Friday A Fredonia Junior/Senior High School student, senior Brandon Glear, passed away earlier this month. To honor him, Fredonia school personnel are requesting fans at this Friday night’s game (Sept. 12) to ‘Wear Blue for Brandon.’ There will be a moment of silence at the beginning of the Eureka vs. Fredonia game to honor and remember their student.
A donation table will be set up at the game. Those unable to attend the game, but wishing to donate in memory of Brandon can bring donations to The Eureka Herald (by 4 p.m. on Friday) and staff will take to the game. Donations can also be sent to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th St., P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736, who are in charge of service arrangements.
