The Flinthills Mustangs walked away with a 2620 victory over Central of Burden last Friday, Sept. 5.
The score was 6-6 after the first, but the Mustangs pulled away in the next two quarters adding 4 touchdowns and only allowing 1 and a safety. Flinthills lead 26-14 going into the final quarter and held on to win the game.
Kaleb Grunder connected with Tripp Carney for two touchdowns. Carney also scored on two fumble recoveries. Ty Finley also scored on a 13-yard pass from Grunder.
