Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club

The September monthly meeting of the Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club was held at the Eureka Public Library on Sept. 2. President Chason Gulick called the meeting to order. Twenty members, four clover buds, and two leaders answered roll call. Last month’s minutes were approved as read.

Duke Coulter gave the treasurer’s report. Amelia Sheperd gave the reporter’s report.

The club leaders shared important information on fall events and deadlines. Updates were given on Club Achievement Night. In new business, the club approved a lot of maintenance items. The highlights were that the club elected new officers for the 2025-2026 4-H year and the club will host a bake sale and lunch to raise funds for the All Veteran’s Memorial on Main Street. The club sang “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt.” Coulter gave a project talk.

The next monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church followed by the Club Achievement Night.
