The Eureka Business Women met on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at TNT Catering, in Eureka. There were 13 members present. Roll call was answered by “Your summer hightlight?”
Minutes of the last meeting (May) were given and approved as read. The treasurer’s report was given and approved as read.
The club received Thank You notes from Kimber Ptacek and Corinne Nelson for the scholarships they received. These were passed around for the club to read.
Announcements were made. Tammi Burtin mentioned the bake sale that the club uses for their scholarship fundraiser, that will be happening in November. Also, prayers were requested for a friend of Charlene Baker, who is in the ICU in Wichita.
Businesswoman of the month, Anneliese Brubaker, was not present.
There was no program for the evening.
The card and scholarship committees were selected during the September meeting.
Door prizes were given away to four lucky ladies.
The club sang Happy Birthday to Dezmond Stewart for his September birthday.
Hostesses for the evening were Lois Stewart, Burtin and Audra Hemingway.
The club closed with the Club Collect.
