The Greenwood County Health Deparmtnet recently installed a brand-new information station right in front of the Health Department. The information is available 24/7 (while supplies last).
Inside you’ll find free, up-to-date materials on important health topics to help keep you and your family safe.
This quarter, the information station features tick safety information.
Stop by and pick up resources on:
•How to identify ticks
•Ways to prevent tick bites
•What to do if you find a tick
•Tick removal tips + tick ID cards •Bonus “tick-tastic” facts to stay itch-free and outdoors- ready! Whether you’re hiking, biking, camping, or just enjoying the Kansas outdoors, grab some quick info and stay protected.
Staff members plan to update the information station quarterly, encouraging residents to check back for new topics throughout the year.
Staff members are pictured above from left to right: Madison Morris, Valerie Morris, Cami Cooper and Director Jayme Lewis.
