In a Facebook post, Saturday, Aug. 16, the Eureka Aquatic Park shared that individual(s) vandalized the facility, prompting a police report.
Property damage and alcohol were discovered, as staff arrived to open on Saturday. A reward is being offered for information. Those with information are asked to contact the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office at 620583-5568.
Weekend operating hours remain, but those attending are asked to avoid the damaged areas.
The newly installed kiddie pool was closed due to a broken pump.
