Age 66 Of El Dorado
Brenda’s life began on January 23, 1959; the daughter of Fred and Elta (Wolford) Curnutt. She loved her family deeply and worked hard. Brenda enjoyed sewing, diamond art, playing with her grandchildren and making memories with family and close friends. She spent the last 21 years with Alan Harvey and loved him dearly, attending many car shows. Brenda always had a green thumb and enjoyed growing her plants. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her son, Jake (Amanda) Duerksen of Eureka, grandchildren Natalie and Henry; siblings John Curnutt and Stuart Jordan. Brenda passed away on August 3, 2025 in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and her son, Joshua Duerksen. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 10 a.m. at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Brenda will be laid to rest along with her son Joshua Duerksen at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to the Eureka Recreation Department or the El Dorado Dance Center.
