A total of three teams competed in the eighth annual Wiffle Ball Tournament, held on Sunday, July 27, at the Greenwood County Fair. With the heavy rainfall, the event took place in the infield of the Eureka Downs racetrack.
The winning team went undefeated during the tournament to claim the championship title.
The Blind Hogs was comprised of 4-Hers and community members including: pictured from left to right, front row: Eden Pope; second row: Brooke Gaines, Sydney Lindamood, Vera Pope, Ella Burke, Laikyn Henke, Hiatt Seaton and Howdy Seaton; and back row: Glen Collinge, Luke Westerman, Henry Perrier, Jasey Burke and Robin Wunderlich.
Approximately 11-12 team members comprised each of the three teams.
The tournament is an annual event hosted the Sunday of the fair at 10 a.m. All are welcome to participate.
