A total of 14 teams competed in the Annual FFA Barnyard Olympics that were held on Saturday, July 26, at the Greenwood County Fair.
“No Name Winners” claimed the 2025 title, as they finished the designated course with a time of 2:22.57.
Teams were challenged in various ways during the 2025 Barnyard Olympics. The first portion of the course had the participants racing through a “barrel race,” with the youngest participant first completing the course on a stick horse. Next, the 7-10 year old and 11-14 year old team member had to complete the course in a three-legged race. Once completed, all participants worked together in a horse shoe toss, where they had to make two inside of a tire before advancing to a water relay race. Participants set up in relay fashion where they had to fill a bucket by using water bottles with holes in the bottom. Contestants also had to pass the bottles by going over their heads. The 2025 Barnyard Olympics course concluded with the tandem skis.
Team members included: Hope Perrier, Lyle Perrier (2nd consecutive year), Landry Boone, Charlie Lindamood and Sutton Nelson.
