Each week The Herald will ask a random question, both on the opinion page of the weekly paper and on The Eureka Herald Facebook© page. River, in Eureka or made on The Eureka Herald’s Facebook© page.

The “Question of the Week” for last week was: “If you found out you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do today?”

Bridget Strickland* “Invite my kids and family over for dinner and cook an elaborate meal one last time for them before playing board games and having a dance party. I would pray over each of them and tell them how much God and I love them.”

Amber Garrett-Irvin* - “I would accept my fate, have an epic celebration of life/ goodbye party with those closest to me, confess my sins to the father one last time and then run into his arms in heaven.”

Don Pennington* - “Definitely not mowing...”

Maria Watchous* - “Go hug everyone I love and tell them how much I love them.”

Staci Crumrine* - “Go home and hold my kids and my husband. We would ask God to comfort them and guide them in my absence.”

Leann Courtney Wells* “I would spend the day with my children,Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and close friends because they are my life!”

Susan Epperson* - “Not tell anyone just casually go visit ones I truly love.”

I would end the day with a drive to Mustang Beach to spend the night on the beach (where I always found happiness)(Plus it keeps my family from finding me).”

Peggy Knudsen Marlar* “Eat some chocolate. Chocolate triggers my hemiplegic migraines, which are like a stroke, so I may as well eat something that I have missed so much if I’m going to die the next day.”
