Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. You can rent books, audiobooks and movies and join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.
This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following: Introduction to D&D Join the EPL for its first ever Introduction to the game of Dungeons & Dragons, taught by Shawn Gamache on Aug. 7, at 6 p.m. Have you ever wanted to be a part of Dungeons and Dragons, but found the whole thing intimidating? It can sound like a lot but the whole process of beginning is much easier than you would think! Gamache will lead a discussion of the game itself, introduce you to the gameplay, rules, talk about character development, and more! Come join us and see how much fun this game can be!
This is a free event for patrons 13 years of age and older only.
Bingo Night
On Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 6:30 p.m. come for a fun night of Bingo! There will be prizes, snacks and fun! Join the EPL for an evening of friendly competition and friendship! This event is limited to persons 18 and above only! No registration necessary.
Game Night
Patrons of all ages! Come and play games at the library on Friday, Aug. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. The EPL will have a selection of games out and available to play. Mingle, make friends, snack, and get your game on! You may also bring your own board games to share with others!
