Marcia Borst, 66, of Reece, died on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her home in Reece.
She was born on May 1, 1959, in Wichita, the daughter of Harold and Eleanor Marie “Ellie” (Hedges) Morton.
On May 2, 1991, she was united in marriage to Shawn Borst in Eureka.
She was a faithful member of On This Rock Church in Eureka.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn, of the home; her daughter, Sidnee Gulick, of Eureka; three grandchildren; and two sisters: Michelle Rupe of Medford, New Jersey; and Melinda Bannon of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, in the Braden Room at the Greenwood County Community Center. Cremation has taken place, and a private family scattering will happen at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to On This Rock Church for their water well project in Africa – a cause close to Marcia’s heart.
