Eight members of the Eureka Archery Club traveled to Springfield, Mo. over the weekend for the Missouri ASA (Archery Shooters Association) Competition. A total of 165 archers competed for state honors by shooting a single round of 30 targets at the two-day event, July 26-27.
Camden Wunderlich claimed his third state ASA championship in the Youth Pins Boys division, capping off a three-week trek in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. He shot a 290 at the Missouri ASA Championship.
Eureka’s Donna Geary also claimed her second state championship title this season, shooting a 292 in the Women’s Senior Known Division in Missouri. She also claimed the Kansas State ASA Championship.
Brad Boulanger and Matt and Tammy Barnhardt were all named runners-up in their divisions. Boulanger shot a 291 in the Men’s Senior Pins. M. Barnhardt shot a 300 in the Men’s Pins 40. T. Barnhardt shot a 287 in the Women’s Pins 30 division.
Also competing at Missouri State ASA from the Eureka area were Bradley Bohl (291, Men’s Pins 40), Jeremy Wharton (306, Men’s Known 40), and Curtis Geary (279, Men’s Senior Pins) Winners in each division were awarded custom buckles with plaques being awarded in various classes for second and third-place finishers.
The 2025 ASA season concludes this weekend in Cullman, Ala. with the Delta-McKenzie Classic. Several members from the Kansas ASA family plan to compete.
