WELCA -
Joni Booth called the July 3 meeting of WELCA to order in the Bell Tower Room at Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka. Sue Erickson led devotions on “Blessings.”
Roll call was answered by five members with a Bible verse.
Secretary Erickson read the minutes of the June 5 meeting.
Rene Wiggins gave the Treasurer’s Report.
Pastor Sue Ellen gave a report on the recent baptism at Eureka Lake for 12 and church services at Eureka City Park, also known as Riverside Park.
The Prayer List was updated.
There will be no WELCA meeting in August.
The program was a discussion about spiritual gifts you have been blessed with.
The Sept. 4 meeting will be led by Joni Booth giving devotions; Margaret Spires a program; and Erickson serving refreshments.
The meeting adjourned and refreshments were provided by Camille Frakes.
