Three Claimed State Championships At Oklahoma ASA Event

Nine members of the Eureka Archery Club ventured to Oklahoma City, Okla., over the weekend for the Oklahoma State ASA (Archery Shooters Association) Competition. A total of 253 archers competed for state honors by shooting a single round of 30 targets at the threeday event, Friday, July 18-Sunday, July 20.

Representing Eureka Archery Club at the event were Curtis (Men’s Senior Pins) and Donna (Senior Women Known) Geary, Matt (Men’s Pins 40) and Tammy (Women’s Pins 30) Barnhardt, Jeremy Wharton (Men’s Known 40), Brad Boulanger (Men’s Senior Pins), Clint Behrens (Men’s Senior Pins), Camden Wunderlich (Youth Pins Boys) and Bradley Bohl (Men’s Pins 40).

Eureka Archery Club’s Wunderlich, Boulanger and Bohl claimed championships in their divisions.

M. Barnhart was named runner-up.

Winners in each division were awarded custom buckles with plaques being awarded in various classes for second and third-place finishers.

The Oklahoma State Championship brought archers from across Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.

Several members from the Kansas ASA family plan to continue their 2025 season and will travel to Missouri for their state championship this weekend.
