In approximately three weeks, APAC-Kansas Inc. will be performing a chip seal project on selected streets in Eureka. (Please see street map above) Weather permitting, the chip seal project is expected to begin on Aug. 11 and take approximately one week to complete. Street access will be limited during the chip seal project. However, there will be access at all times for emergency vehicles. No vehicles will be allowed to be parked on the street while the street is being resurfaced. All vehicles will need to be removed from the street by 7:30 a.m. If you walk or drive through oil that does not have aggregate on it, you will be responsible for any damages to your vehicle or property.
Please help City crews prepare for this project, by removing all debris (including grass and weeds) from the gutters and street in front of your residence.
With resident cooperation, this street resurfacing project can be completed quickly and safely. The City of Eureka will do whatever possible to minimize any inconvenience.
