Clint Allen Tracy was born October 13, 1942, in Winfield, Kansas to Bishop and Lois (McGregor) Tracy. He went home to his heavenly Father, July 8, 2025, on his land near rural Toronto, Kansas while doing what he loved, gathering cattle. His family moved from Udall to Toronto when he was a small child. He attended grade school at Quincy, Kansas and graduated from Toronto High School in 1960.
Clint helped to work the family farm and spent several years on the rodeo circuit as a bareback rider. He also worked with a custom harvest crew. Through the years he worked for local farmers, ranchers, and nearby sale barns. He met and married Gail Goodrum in 1968, they were later divorced. They were parents to daughters, Teena and Tara. During these years, they farmed and raised cattle. Clint met Gail Gray-Smith in 1989, they were married February 9, 1994. This 36year partnership was an example of true love and kindness to anyone who knew them.
