A 2021 graduate of Eureka Junior/Senior High School will be returning to her hometown to serve Greenwood County as the newest Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper to serve the area.
Chazni (Ptacek) Scott was among the 71st Class to graduate from the KHP Patrol Training Academy.
Her husband, Quade, placed her badge on her for the first time at graduation on Tuesday, June 17.
