The 2025 Greenwood County Fair is officially underway as Shooting Sports events began last week and will continue this Sunday, June 29.
This annual archery competition was held on Saturday, June 21, , at the Eureka Lake dam. Participants competed in a FITA and 3-D contest. Results will be shared during the annual banquet this Sunday evening.
The annual shotgun competition will be held this Sunday, June 29, at 4 p.m., at the Eureka Lake gun range, located at 1667 P Road. Participants will shoot trap and skeet.
Spectators are welcome to attend. Those attending should bring a lawn chair, bug spray, sunscreen, possibly a shade apparatus and water for hydration.
A shooting sports awards banquet, for participants and their families, will be held in the Turf Room of the Eureka Downs Concourse Building/ Greenwood County Community Center, this Sunday, at approximately 7 p.m.
