The Eureka USD 389 Board of Education (BOE) held a short business meeting on Monday, June 9.
A single carpet bid was received from Alan’s Carpet and Flooring, totaling $15,608.29 for carpet tile squares. The bid was approved as presented, with the carpet being updated in two computer labs and two title rooms at Marshall Elementary School (ME).
The board approved the audit and budget preparation contracts with Rodney M. Burns, CPA, LLC; KASB policy updates and the 2025 fiscal closure as presented.
Administrative updates were given by ME Principal Stacy Coulter, Eureka Junior/Senior High School Principal Angie Lowe and Superintendent Scott Hoyt.
The board accepted a resignation from Sherry Stone, kitchen services and approved Kendal Hollis and Laurel Light as paraprofessionals for the 202526 school year.
The next meeting for the Eureka USD 389 BOE is scheduled for Monday, July 7, at 6 p.m.
