Heidi Dutton, formerly of Eureka, was sentenced on Friday, June 6 in the killing of her grandparents/adopted parents, Larry and Deborah Dutton, near Dewey, Okla. in 2022.
According to Bartlesville Radio KWON, the sentence came after Dutton opted to enter a guilty plea. The two first-degree murder charges sentenced her to life in prison. She was also convicted on two felony charges of desecration of a human corpse and a felony count of conspiracy.
The other three counts will run concurrently with the life sentence.
Her boyfriend, Lucas Anthony Walker was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for his role in the 2022 murder. Walker was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder in Indian Country.
