WELCA met June 5, 2025 in the bell tower room at Christ Lutheran Church.
Joni Booth, president, called the meeting to order. Margaret Spires gave devotions from Acts 2:1-21, God in our own languages.
Roll call was answered by 5 members with a bible verse.
Sue Erickson, secretary, read the minutes of May 1.
The treasurer’s report was provided by Rene Wiggins.
Communications was a note from the office of the WELCA church-wide executive board thanking the Eureka church for financial support.
The prayer list was updated and discussed.
Booth gave the lesson on spiritual gifts with members assisting with bible verses from Matthew, Luke, Romans, Corinthians, and Ecclesiastes plus discussion.
The next meeting will be July 3 with devotions by Erickson and the lesson will continue with spiritual gifts. Dessert will be provided by Camille Frakes. Refreshments were provided by Wiggins.
